For Everyone - Third Sunday of Lent
Have you had anytime to set aside during this season? Nature is working to keep her place in winter and yet still preparing for spring time. How can you still keep your place in a hurried society with all of your responsibilities and problems, and yet honor the Lord? Know that this is a universal human struggle. Worries, fear, distress, the business of daily life, all vie for our attention. Fill your mind with God’s word.
God is our refuge and our strength, an ever-present help in distress Psalm 46:2
Can you take just a few minutes a day to read one line of God’s word and spend a few minutes letting it speak to your heart and mind?
“Be still and confess that I am God.” Psalm 46:10
This is a beautiful psalm full of the greatness of God and His all encompassing power. Take a look! Replace one minute a day with a verse that speaks to your heart, only One minute. One minute less to worry, then keep going a little further each day!

Bibles are available-please ask me for one or go on line: www.usccb.org/nab/bible/index.shtml

Look for Psalm 46 in the Old Testament. Easy to use site.
